Great Deal and Motivated Seller: what the boat badges mean

Use value comparisons and recorded price reductions as two separate ways to explore boat listings.

Great Deal compares the asking price

Topjib’s money badge highlights qualifying boats priced at least 20% below its asking-price comparison estimate. The feature requires at least three qualifying comparables and applies an additional confidence guard rather than labeling every unusually low price a bargain. Known title or non-running issues are excluded from this badge.

The comparison is a browsing signal. A lower asking price can reflect condition, equipment or information missing from the listing. Review the boat’s details and ask follow-up questions before deciding that the difference represents savings for your situation.

Motivated Seller looks at recent changes

The flame badge highlights a qualifying recorded reduction of at least 10% within the last 14 days. It uses dated asking-price observations, so it reflects recorded changes rather than an assumption about the seller’s personal circumstances. The badge expires as the relevant history falls outside the window.

A boat can qualify for both badges. One compares the current price with other listings; the other describes its own recent asking-price movement. Use the quick filters to browse either group, or combine them to explore boats that meet both rules.

Check the full history

Open the boat page to see dated asking prices and reductions. The current price appears above a crossed-out prior price when a reduction is recorded. A price cut does not confirm current availability, a final sale price or the seller’s willingness to accept a specific offer. Use Contact Seller to ask.
