Free boat value check

How much is my boat worth?

Compare your proposed asking price with recorded boats of the same make and type. Topjib needs at least 3 eligible similar boats; otherwise it returns “not enough data.” Public results show high, medium or low. A completed free account unlocks the dollar range.

Comparable asking prices are a starting point

Model, year, length and condition matter. Asking prices are not verified sale prices, and this check is not a formal appraisal. See the matching rules and source weights.

Filled in from a Topjib listing. Blank fields were not stated on that listing.

Checking a price does not require an account. Topjib stores the boat details and the price you enter. It does not store your name or email with that price.

Dated Lake Travis observations

What does the local listing sample show?

As of , Topjib records 40 active public boat pages in its Lake Travis and nearby-town sample: 13 with seller-reported lake locations and 27 advertised in nearby towns. 11 active pages have a latest recorded asking-price cut between 2026-10-06 and 2026-11-04.

These are advertised prices and dated source observations. Nearby-town ads do not verify lake presence, and Sold marks do not supply verified closing prices. Registry-only records are excluded. This mixed-boat overview is context; your value check uses its own qualifying comparables.

Looking for a boat appraisal in Austin, Texas?

Topjib provides an asking-price comparison for Austin and Lake Travis shoppers. It does not inspect the boat or issue a formal appraisal. If a lender, insurer or other recipient needs a valuation, ask what report and qualifications they accept before commissioning one. A marine condition survey and a price comparison answer different questions; confirm the scope of any professional service.

For a selling discussion, explore the sourced local dealer and broker selling programs. Directory inclusion does not verify appraisal qualifications or an agreement to represent you. You can also review dated local asking-price observations and how Topjib tracks boats.

What does the check measure?

The check uses three recorded samples when each one has at least three similar boats. Prices visitors enter count once. Current asking prices count twice. Seller-reported sales count three times. A sold mark is the last asking price when a seller reported the listing sold. It is not a verified transaction price. If a sample is too small, that sample is left out. If every sample is too small, Topjib does not guess a result.

How is the Topjib Estimate on a boat page calculated?

The Topjib Estimate on an active listing uses the median of at least three qualifying other hulls' asking prices. Its comparison interval shows the middle 50% of those asks. The subject boat does not contribute its own price, and inactive boats, unrelated makes/models, multi-boat packages and stated projects or operating problems are excluded. A thin or unsuitable comparison is withheld.

The public check above is a separate blend of eligible recorded source samples using the weights described here. Neither result is a professional appraisal or a verified closing-price prediction. Open a listing's comparison details to see its actual comparable boats, matching reasons and missing evidence.

What information do I need?

Enter the boat type, make, model year, length, location, condition, and the price you want. Matching uses the same maker/type, years within three years and lengths within 8% (at least one foot). When you supply a model, only that recorded model is compared. Location and condition narrow the sample only when at least three similar boats remain. Topjib does not add a fixed dollar amount for condition, a trailer, or a title.

What is stored?

The price you enter is stored with the boat type, year, length, make, city, and condition. A value check does not ask for your name or email. A saved dollar range stays on your account. Topjib does not email the range.

What if there are too few similar boats?

Topjib says there is not enough data. You can still browse recorded Austin boat listings and review the sample size and methodology.
